The goal of International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) is to advance the profession of business analysis worldwide. This includes the realm of academia where future business analysts will begin to develop their knowledge and skills. To achieve this objective, we have introduced several academic programs.

Recognition Programs


In order to support future or new business analysts in gaining the knowledge required to perform in a business analysis role, IIBA is partnering with academic institutions to ensure their courses deliver the appropriate level of BA knowledge and skills.   • Academic Certificate: The Academic Certificate Program recognizes students enrolled in undergraduate and/or graduate courses related to business analysis for the knowledge they have gained in this discipline by awarding the Academic Certificate in Business Analysis.
